Did you change your spring break plans because of the virus? From what to what?

I did not, My plan was to work at the Library and my research paper.

How did you feel when you were informed the remainder of the semester would be held online?

Excited and worried as I commute 45 minutes to an hour 1 way. I prefer face to face interactions.

Where will you be living while courses are held online? Is this a change from usual?

No, it is not.

What has been your experience with moving classes online? What’s good? What’s not so good?

The worse feeling has to be the lack of communication between fellow students on topics I may not fully grasp or vice versa. This also involves meeting face to face with the professor on a confusing subject. The good aspect of moving classes online is the amount of extra free time and money I gain.

How has the virus (and the precautions taken to prevent it spreading) impacted your daily life?

Old habits of doing things a particular way are having to be changed. This change has led to level of stress that has added to trying to figure out how to juggle work, school, family, and even money.

How worried are you about getting the virus?

I am scared of getting it as a cancer survivor. I have to potential to be immune compromise.

Do you know anyone who has gotten COVID-19?

No.

Are you staying in? What are you doing to pass the time?

Read, play a few video games here and there, and put in the extra effort to at least get higher grades as I have the extra time for that.

Are you going out? Where do you go and what is it like?

Depends on my location, I bounce between an apartment with someone and my parents place. My parents place has animals, cats, that I take for walks or play with them in the backyard. I do laps around the apartment complex in a way to stay active. I have one cat that I have raised 6 weeks old and we go for car rides to explore new things for me and for him.
