| Description/Context: | A stand alone editorial cartoon featuring the ‘citizen support’ attempting to stop the towering wave of the Escambia School Crisis with a simple mop. This alludes to the lukewarm support of local education where some education measures passed in the special referendum, but not the key issue of increasing taxes to provide revenue. The cartoon shown is the original, but altered for later use by the pasting of the words “Escambia Waste Problems” over the original “Escambia School Crisis” wording. |
