Title: | The New Pensacola? |
Medium: | Ink and graphite on paper |
Size: | 11 5/8 in. x 22 in. |
Description/Context: | A stand alone editorial cartoon featuring a carpenter/builder bringing lumber and supplies to build the ‘new’ Downtown Pensacola with imagination, coordinated leadership, and enterprise. The original cartoon had a spelling error with “enterprize” which was corrected for publication by pasting a corrected letter over the ‘z’ but due to age and dry glue, this pasted-on piece has been lost. This is Bowden’s original drawing before being changed for publication. |
