Title: The Political Animal
Medium: Ink and graphite on paper
Size: 10 ¾ in. x 19 ¼ in.
Description/Context: A stand alone editorial cartoon featuring a giant dragon ‘Gerrymandering’ wandering over Escambia County. The January 14th Focus page featured some of the strangely drawn maps of Pensacola, designed to redraw precinct and voting boundaries to try to equalize districts by population, but perhaps favoring certain politicians too much.
