Description/Context: Accompanying the editorial ‘Santa Rosa Island Being Lost to Public’ congratulating the Escambia County Commission on halting leases on Santa Rosa Island, but lamenting their continued opposition to including beaches in the Seashore limits. The cartoon features the large arm and hand of ‘the desires of the community’ pushing a reluctant Escambia County Commission toward the Gulf Islands National Seashore path.
