Description/Context: | A stand alone editorial cartoon featuring a self portrait of J. Earle Bowden sitting perplexed at a large cartoon easel, but posted on the easel is a large note ‘Give To The United Fund.’ The cartoon alludes to the annual United Fund campaign in Escambia County where some twenty or more agencies held a combined fund-raising campaign. This cartoon was reprinted with changes on December 25, 1966. |
