Description/Context: A stand-alone editorial cartoon noting the coattails on fire, possibly of Escambia Sheriff Bill Davis. After an investigation by the Governor’s Office, Florida Governor Claude Kirk has requested that an Escambia grand jury be convened to consider charges. Note the original cartoon shown has been changed for earlier/later use with the label “Gov’t Center Politics” pasted on the burning coattails; the July 16th cartoon was blank in this section.
