Undergraduate students enrolled in Dr. Jamin Wells’s Spring 2018 AMH2020 course transcribed most of the 1905 Pensacola City Directory. This work-in-progress provides an early glimpse into this data. While we are working hard to eliminate errors, these Tableau visualizations of occupation, race, and domestic situation provide an early glimpse of the remarkably stories hidden in the 9,000-plus entries these ambitious students compiled.
