Did you change your Summer plans because of the virus? From what to what?

My summer plans changed from orientating the class of 2024 face to face to virtually orientating them instead, attending social justice protest, and starting a business, Art by Al.

Did you change your Fall plans because of the virus? From what to what?

I planned to attend a lot of school events. Now, I work more, focus more on school and my art business.

How did you feel when you were informed that many classes would be held online?

I was shocked and overwhelmed at first but having two classes online over the summer helped me prepare for Fall 2020.

Where will you be living during the Fall 2020 semester? Is this a change from usual?

I will be living on campus which is normally what I do.

How did you feel when you learned that Fall sports would be cancelled or postponed?

I was heartbroken. Fall is my favorite season and fall sports is something I look forward to each year! Specifically, football and basketball.

What has been your experience with many classes being held online? What’s good? What’s not so good?

My online experience has been good. I just miss interacting with peers face to face.

How has the virus (and the precautions taken to prevent it spreading) impacted your daily life?

Instead of going in stores to shop, I try to use the store pickup service as much as possible.

How worried are you about getting the virus?

Not worried.

Do you know anyone who has gotten COVID-19?

Yes.

Are you staying in? What are you doing to pass the time?

I am staying in more. In my pass time, I read, arts and crafts, record videos for YouTube, or play Sims.

Are you going out? Where do you go and what is it like?

If I do go out, it is usually to a restaurant.

What is giving you hope and/or strength right now?

Knowing that God is still in control is what give me strength. I know that if we all just get through one day at a time, everything will be okay.
