Did you change your spring break plans because of the virus? From what to what?

I work at a local hospital so my plans were to work over the break. However, my work schedule did change significantly due to the virus.

How did you feel when you were informed the remainder of the semester would be held online?

I felt a little anxious.

Where will you be living while courses are held online? Is this a change from usual?

I lived with my sorority sisters until I was able to move into an apartment.

What has been your experience with moving classes online? What’s good? What’s not so good?

My last semester of undergrad was already online so that transition did not affect me as much as some. However, I used the textbooks in the library and was no longer able to access them.

How has the virus (and the precautions taken to prevent it spreading) impacted your daily life?

I am now working both of my jobs remotely and have not really left my house. I have not seen my family in months.

How worried are you about getting the virus?

I am a little worried about getting the virus, but I am making sure that I do all that I can to take precaution.

Do you know anyone who has gotten COVID-19?

Yes.

Are you staying in? What are you doing to pass the time?

Yes I am staying in. To pass the time, I am cleaning the house, reading, and doing schoolwork.

Are you going out? Where do you go and what is it like?

I go out for a run each day. It is very quiet and I do not see many people out.

What is giving you hope and/or strength right now?

That this too shall pass.

Is there anything else you’d like to tell us about what you’re feeling or experiencing right now?

My mood has fluctuated. Sometimes I am anxious, worried, or stressed. Other times, I am happy and ready to tackle the day. It really just depends.
