Did you change your spring break plans because of the virus? From what to what?
I didn’t have huge plans, but it went from being able to spend time with friends from out of state colleges coming home for spring break, to staying home away from all people except for my fiance.
How did you feel when you were informed the remainder of the semester would be held online?
Stressed. A few of my classes had me working directly with elementary students… online classes mean that I have to finish my one-on-one work with filler assignments. Also sad that I would not be able to say goodbye to the second graders that I have been with all semester.
Where will you be living while courses are held online? Is this a change from usual?
My apartment in Pensacola, luckily no change there.
What has been your experience with moving classes online? What’s good? What’s not so good?
I have no motivation to do anything at all.
How has the virus (and the precautions taken to prevent it spreading) impacted your daily life?
Everyone is being impacted in some way, I am lucky that I get to work from home while many others are still risking their health to make sure we all have what we need. Sure, I wash my hands way more than probably necessary and Clorox wipe down my entire life, but that is a small price to pay to try and prevent getting Covid-19.
How worried are you about getting the virus?
I am very worried, it is spreading like wildfire…killing like one too.
