Mapping Pensacola — A long-term project that maps the people, places, and events of Pensacola between 1870 and 1940.
Spring 2018
Undergraduate students enrolled in UWF’s Oral and Community History course are conducting an oral history project about the EF3 Tornado that struck Century, Florida in February 2016. Working in partnership with the Town of Century and the Alger-Sullivan Historical Society, students will interview approximately 15 community members about the tornado, it’s impact, and the long history of Century and surrounding areas.
